Layers And Navy Boots

Hi everyone, This what i wore on a chilly and windy weekend not so long ago.

I wanted to wear something that said “spring” but the only way i could that was to layer. This beautiful Silk skirt from J.Crew was the perfect starter, with its beautiful floral print and striking colours. I then wore it with my go-to Joseph breton striped top and then layered my oversized classic white shirt over the top, just letting the stripes peek through enough for a more subtle take on print clashing. Then making good use of my Army jacket by CLOSED concluded my layering and just a classic brown belt to pull it all together. I wore my Navy ankle boots my KG Kurt Geiger with some charcoal grey ankle socks as the colour really complimented and worked in well with the colours within my outfit.

For my accessories i wore my YSL Ring ,Topshop statement necklace,Marc By Marc Jacobs Watch, simple black clutch and of course my Ray Bans.

Hope you like and thank you for any lovely comments! Take care,Daniella xox

My Sister-Her Style

Hi everyone,no I have not dyed my hair pink (though I was contemplating having my ends dipped) This is my sister Trinity. I would like to get more outfit pictures of her as I think she can come up with some pretty great outfits. There just never seems to be any time to capture them, which is a shame. I wouldn’t say this is her style as she doesn’t have a particular style genre, I would say she dresses her mood. Anyway this time i was able to capture what she was wearing and thought i’d show you for something a bit different.

Hope you like. Thank you and Take care,Daniella xox

Making Old New

Hi lovelies, This outfit pretty much consists of either last years pieces or just very old pieces. It always fun bringing new life to older clothes. I also think it confirms you made the right decision when buying way back then if you are still able to still wear years later.

This look in my opinion is quite classic spring-The polka dot dress in white and navy, the shorter trench and the little grey cardigan. I can’t say this outfit is my usual style but i think its nice to create something like that once in a while. I decided as well to create some print play by clashing these Leopard print brogues that i bought from River Island last Autumn, they also gave this overall classic look a bit of an unexpected edge.

The green bag is my mums which I borrowed,I thought its ladylike and classic shape played nicely into the look and with also having the opinion that the bag needed to be a stronger colour. I chose my Chanel sunglasses as they have slightly more elegant charm then the Ray Bans and some edgier jewellery for a more laid back approach to accessorising.

Hope you like the look sweeties. Thank you and Take care,Daniella xox

Matchy Matchy-Outfit Two

Hi everyone, So this is my second “Matchy Matchy” look.

I used this great matching set from COS! Though i must say the shorts have sold out,so i have no link :( Sorry! Anyway what i love about this set is that its not only incorporating the matchy trend but its also perfect for chic summer tailoring and it comes in this awesome Geometric print which i loveeee.

I thought to put a slightly more casual twist on the smarter pieces i’d style it with a simple white tee, some tanned flats like these amazing Proenza Schouler ones and a cute mini bag preferably one that pops colour like this Michael Michael Kors bag, that i adore! As i think this creates laid back take on both matching pieces as well as tailored ones.

Hope you all like! Thank you and Take care,Daniella xox

Navy Cable

Hi everyone, another spring look for you wearing my beautiful Marni summer coat again.

I also dug out some older pieces of mine like this very very old Ralph Lauren navy cable knit sweater that I bought when I was about 17 years old(when I was going through a big preppy phase) and my light neon Topshop dress that got last year. I layered one over the other as it was still quite chilly (and well it still is,where are you spring?) Making the light summer dress more weather appropriate. I like the how it comes across a bit like a skirt but still just peaks out the top just enough,so you can still see its a dress. I then wore my delicious purple Marni coat,i simply adored how these three colours look together whilst also creating fun length play. So with this look being reminiscent of a somewhat ladylike look i decided to wear these always ultra edgy Elizabeth and James flatforms to throw the outfit of balance a bit.

Accessories included some chunkier rings,my boyfriends watch,Prada tote and Ray Bans.

Hope you all like :) Take care,Daniella xox

Ready For The Rain

Hi everyone, This is something i wore when the rain had just started falling.

I thought this cream trench coat was the perfect choice for a Spring rain coat (though in all fairness i am pretty sure it’s not technically waterproof). I’ve had this coat for years and years now and i’ve not worn it an awful lot but that day it just worked and i enjoyed being able to wear to it again. I also wanted to wear this Pringle of Scotland sweater again and i decided to wear it my Joseph leather leggings as i loved how the two different textures played of against each other and with the diamonds on the sweater being neon trimmed it still kept the look fresh and more spring-like. I then wore my Stella McCartney Sandals as they created a balanced contrast between the leather leggings and them and also giving the look a unexpected edge pairing a last season staple with a spring/summer staple-the minimal sandal.

Hope you like this look. Take care and hope you’re all enjoying your sunday,Daniella xox Continue reading

I Wanna Wear You

Hi everyone, I thought i’d show you some things that i’ve bought over the last few months. I’ve been dying to where these pieces but haven’t been able to yet for the reasons being that the weather hasn’t been its nicest recently and thats an understatement as all of you probably know and also i’ve been ill with cold and flu twice in one month (due to my ridiculously weak immune system) So the odds have been stacked against me. So i thought that i would show the things i’ve collected over the last couple months this way just until i can finally put them into a look :)

Oversized Sweater

Hi everyone, just a quick post.

This Acne sweater was the first ever piece a bought from Acne back a couple years ago now and it was definitely the beginning of my love for the brand! I wore it with a simple, classic white shirt to put a smarter spin on this more laid back oversized sporty sweater.

I then wore it with my J Brand Cargos and my Pedro Garcia wedges, simple yet effective styling, well i think! I also wore my Neon trim basket bag by Marc By Marc Jacobs,i liked how the strap added to the sporty undertones of the look. :)

Thank you and Take care,Daniella xox
